“Dying in America: Conversations Before the Crisis”

The presentation covers the difficult choices families must face before
and after the death of a loved one.
Distinguished author William Colby will speak about the current legal
and political climate surrounding end-of-life decisions in Missouri.
Colby, author of "Long Goodbye," raises important
legal, social, ethical and religious issues that come into play with
end-of-life decisions.
- A panel of community experts will convene after the presentation
to discuss the challenges confronted by patients, families, health
care providers and society at the end of life.
- Medical and legal experts will be available to assist in completing
advance healthcare directives at no charge
