A special meeting of the Brown Bag Seminar will be meeting to discuses “Gertrude Bell -The Creator Of Iraq.” The Noel P. Gist Seminars, named for the distinguished MU sociologist who founded them, explore the world beyond the borders of the United States and consider the relations of the United States with other countries and regions of the world. Unless otherwise noted, the seminars meet every Thursday when MU classes are in session, 12-1 p.m.
Attendees will find it useful to become familiar with this extraordinary Arabist and her role in creating Iraq and its first King.
