Amit Prasad, an MU associate professor of sociology, will be presenting on the growth of embryonic stem cell therapy in India and the best practices that are developing along with it, given the ethical concerns surrounding stem cell therapy around the world. Prasad studied one of the country’s foremost clinics, NuTech, last fall, and will discuss what he found during this year’s Noel P. Gist Brown-Bag Luncheon Seminar on International Affairs.
