Tuesday, April 7:
– “Women in Islam,” a presentation on women’s status in Islam, followed by Henna designs, Memorial Union N243, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 8:
– “Diplomacy in the Islamic World,” a presentation by Lily Fortel of Peaceworks, discussing her recent trip to Iran and what she learned, Memorial Union S110, 5 p.m.
Thursday, April 9:
– “Islamic Science and the European Renaissance,” a lecture by Dr. George Saliba, professor of Arabic and Islamic Science in the Department of Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures at Columbia University, discussing the history of Islamic contributions to science, Waters Auditorium, 7 p.m. Reception follows.
Friday, April 10:
– Visit to the Islamic Center of Central Missouri, 201 S. 5th St., Columbia, 1:15 p.m.
